FAQ's

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are human hair or synthetic lashes that are applied to each natural lash using a semi-permanent  adhesive to make your lashes look longer, fuller, and/or darker.

Will eyelash extensions damage my natural lashes?

No, when lashes are correctly applied they caused no damage to your natural lashes.

Are eyelash extensions safe when pregnant?

Generally speaking, eyelash extensions are a safe and non-invasive cosmetic procedure. If you are pregnant and never had eyelash extensions before, we strongly recommend a patch test before your appointment. This patch test must be completed at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session.

Please note: Lash extension application requires you to lay flat on your back for over an hour; a position that is not recommended for women in the advanced stages of pregnancy. It also requires that you lie quite still- which can be hard if you're heavily pregnant.

Can I get eyelash extensions if I am allergic to latex?

Absolutely, latex-free adhesives are used on clients that have allergic reactions or sensitivities to latex.

Can I wear eye makeup with my eyelash extensions?

Yes, you can- as long as it is oil-free and very low in glycol/glycerin. These ingredients attack the glue, loosening the lash bond and causing extensions to fall.
Recommend makeup products to use:
Liquid/pen liner (oil-free)- gel liner tend to stick in the roots of the lashes and is tough to remove.
Power eyeshadows are fine- check the ingredients list for glycol and glycerin, as sometimes these products are snuck in.
Avoid mascara- this product causes the extensions to clump together, and often contains oils to weaken the glue bond on your lashes, especially waterproof mascara.

Can you get lash extensions after a lash lift?

It's best that you wait 6-8 weeks so that the lashes are smooth enough to allow for correct bonding. On very lifted/kinked lashes, it can be difficult to get them to bond well/last properly.

How often should I come in for a fill?

Lash extensions usually last about 2 to 3 weeks (results vary per person). Damaged and sparse lashes will require a fill every 1-2 weeks (results will vary per person).
