Pre-Application Instructions

Before you arrive to your first appointment, there are a few things you will need to do to before you get eyelash extensions. Please follow the step-by-step instructions to properly prepare for your upcoming lash appointment.

Step 1: Avoid waterproof mascara or eyeliner for up to 3-4 days prior to your appointment.

Step 2: Do not use oil -based products on or near your eyelids. Left over oil residue may result in premature shedding due to a weaker bond between the extensions and your natural lashes.

Step 3: Do not wear eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow, etc. to your appointment, as makeup residue may prevent your lash application from properly adhering. There is a $10 upcharge if a lash bath is needed to remove eye makeup, and it will be considered part of your allotted appointment time.

Step 4: Do not curl your lashes on the day of your appointment.

Step 5: It is recommended that contact lenses are not worn during lash applications. Please bring along a contact lens case with solution to store your lenses during your appointment. You may replace your contact lenses immediately following your appointment.

Step 6: Do not drink caffeine/energy drinks/stimulants for a minimum of 3 hours prior to your appointment. Caffeine causes the eye to flutter which can cause irritation (as the eye will not be fully closed) and/or poor retention as a solid bond cannot be created if the lash is moving.
